Want to split only numbers

hi all

i will get the value from certain field and store it into an argument. now in that value i want to take only the number from it . for that i am using Regex function. but i was getting an error.

emp_id is object. even if i change object to string it s giving error.

Expression you have written is not correct and that is why you are getting error
