How to change default browser from IE to chrome

Our assistedge application is using IE browser by default. How to change it to chrome ?
Is this a simple change in any configuration file ? or it required code level change ?

Hi,

When you add an application then you will have the option to select browser type for that application. Depending upon your configuration application will launch.
