How can I ensure whether Sign in was successful?

I want to ensure that Sign in was successful. For this, I am using Validation activity.
Can some one help me - how can use this activity?

Hi,

Once you create a Sign In process a Sign In Validation activity gets added. You can put your criteria for validation whether Sign in is successful or not either using url or variable option.
For ex:

In case of Web application you can put url of landing screen post Sign In

For Variable option you can configure Control Exist interaction for any UI element which indicates successful sign in on landing screen and compare its value
