While creating the PDF template, I am getting the error below when configuring the Area Selection type as one corner.
Please define reference string first.
Also, I am not getting this error while configuring Area Selection Type as Fixed Rectangle.
Can anyone help, what I am missing?

When you select the option Fixed Rectangle, you need to draw a rectangle, and the X and Y coordinates of a rectangle are identified by AssistEdge based on the rectangle user has drawn. There is no need for reference and so you didn’t get any errors.
But for Area Selection type One Corner, Two Corner, or Three Corners, you need to define reference first as it lets you configure a reference point for data extraction. With the help of reference points, you can indicate the start and the end point of the area within which the data must be extracted.

But how should I add references and on which text should I create a reference?
You can search for particular string to add occurrence number in the pdf, for usability - highlight the same in pdf template, then to add reference - add reference button.
