Instance to Instance Migration

Hello Admin,
We have a usecase to migrate N number of values from one instance to another instance.
There is no Export option for the module to produce Excel automatically. Is there any feasible option to extract the values from one instance to another ?
FYI- the process is complex involving more than 70 fields.

Rahul Ramesh

Hi,

You can export the process zip from Migration tab. You can import the same zip in target env.

Hi Amit,
The problem is not with process migration.
The need is to extract the values from one instance(SIT) to another instance(Prod).
The Get value of the fields is not feasible as there are more than 70 fields to capture and its time consuming.
Kindly provide any alternative method.

Thanks and Regards,
Rahul Ramesh

HI,

Once you import and export process all arguments are exported along with process

Hi Amit,
Iam not talking about argument. I am talking about the template of the process.
Extraction of the line Items from a instance and saving all the line items(500 values approx) and saving it somewhere and again uploading all the values into another instance.
For Extraction of all values we need a feasible way of doing it.
Hope the query is clear.

Hi,

What do you mean by template of process. I am assuming you have creted a process in Studio which is pointing to Dev instance and are trying to import in Studio which is pointing to Prod instance.

Amit

Hi,
The requirement is the dev team will upload all the values into dev instance manually and verify it. The RPA has to then take all the values from the dev instance then move all the values into Prod instance.
The Client team is feeling the Excel creation is very time consuming and they are looking for instance to instance migration without involving Excel.
So looking for solution to extract values from a instance and migrate it to another.

Hi,

What do you mean by this statement. Which values are you referring to. For migration no manual step is required
