I have a COM object error, what does it mean?

Hi

Ive recorded a process and i have received an error:

COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used.

What does it mean?

In which type of application automation and which activity you are getting this exception

I’m using the application activity, and then im trying to click on a value within a field.

Previous step is to set attribute of text ‘Serial Number’ and then once serial number appears i want to click on it and then it should populate in the ‘choose field’.

Hi,

Can you debug your process using Test Run > debug option and putting break point to identify at which step this error is coming
