How to configure a application present on desktop

I want to automate a process by using one a application which is present on my desktop. So is it possible? If it is possible how we can configure it?

Hi,

If on desktop you have a shortcut icon for your desktop tick client app check the actual path of the exe and add that application as a windows application

Post that you can configure the steps
