Difference in Profile Types

When I open Automation Studio and create a new profile.
I can select between two types of profiles: Automation and Load Generator.
What is the distinction between these types?

Hi,

Load Generator process should mandatorily have trigger activity so that an automation process can be invoked by it.It should have defined input criteria depending upon user is degning File based, Email Based, Scheduled Based, FTP based LG process

Automation process represents any business use case automation configured via any activity. It can have any input criteria.
